International Relations & Development
As an Indonesian-born Australian, I am committed to advancing and strengthening the people-to-people relationship between the two countries. Through my academic study and political involvement, I have developed a deep interest in International Relations, Development and Diplomacy.
In 2017 and 2018, I traveled to Timor-Leste as a member of the Australia Timor-Leste Election Observer Mission. In 2018, I joined the Australian Labor International delegation to Indonesia, where I met with members of the Indonesian Parliament, political leaders, and several local NGOs, such as the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
Security, Terrorism and Counter-terrorism
In 2013, I completed a Bachelor degree majoring in Security, Terrorism and Counter-terrorism Studies from Murdoch University. Since then, I have pursued further study at the postgraduate level at Charles Sturt University, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Analysis and Master of Terrorism and Security Studies, with a Distinction average.
My research areas of interest include right-wing terrorism, lone-actor terrorism, terrorism in Southeast Asia, specifically in Indonesia, and anti-corruption and integrity practices.
